We are a salon located in the heart of Woodbury catering to the Woodbury Community and surrounding suburbs. We are the young, modern, hip salon who brings the modern trends to Woodbury.

We specialize in trendy colors, balayage, foilayage, vibrant vivids, highlights, ombre melts, and modern gray coverage. We also specialize in blonding, Asian blonding, and blonding of naturally dark hair. We also offer luxury services like sewed-in Hair Extension (using human hair), Brazilian Blowout (hair straightening service), B3 Deep Conditioning Treatments, Olaplex treatments for damaged hair, and bio bond builder to protect the hair from damage during color services. We use special techniques and product that not only will give you the desired look that you want, but also maintaining the health and the integrity of the hair by using modern blonding techniques.

Besides hair services, our salon also offers skin care services, waxing services, and lash extension services. We use Aveda Skin Care Line.

We have different tiers of stylists from Apprenticeship Stylists to Master Stylists. With different tiers of stylists, we can accommodate and work with your budget. We offer haircuts for people of all ages, waxing services, specialty perms. We have a bridal team of stylists to accommodate large wedding parties with bridal hair and make-up.

Our Story: Humble Beginnings

The Story of Signature Salon of Woodbury

What began as a bold vision in September 2019 quickly became a testament to strength, passion, and perseverance. That year, Quynh’s Beauty Salon opened its doors in Saint Paul, founded by Quynh—a dedicated stylist with a dream of creating a space where beauty, confidence, and connection could flourish.

The world shifted shortly after opening. The arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic changed everything. Like many small businesses, the salon faced immense uncertainty and disruption. And just as the beauty industry began navigating those turbulent waters, the Twin Cities were rocked by the tragic death of George Floyd. These events brought fear, grief, and instability to the community, yet through it all, Quynh’s Beauty Salon remained open and grounded in purpose. It became more than a salon—it became a safe haven. A place of calm. A place of healing and human connection when it was needed most.

Two years in, and the salon had outgrown its original space. The space was becoming too small for the high demand. The clientele had grown, the vision had expanded, and a larger, more elevated environment was needed to match that growth. Quynh, who had been living in Woodbury at the time decided it was time to bring her business closer to home.

The search led her to a unique opportunity. Quynh took over the former Ficocello's, a well-known neighborhood salon in Woodbury. With heart, hustle, and unwavering determination, Quynh transformed the space and brought her dream to life in a whole new way. In August 2022, the salon was brought back to life and the doors opened once again, this time as Signature Salon of Woodbury.

In August 2022, Quynh officially opened the doors to her new salon and rebranded the name to Signature Salon of Woodbury—a full-service salon rooted in resilience, elevated beauty, and community spirit.

Today, Signature Salon stands as a symbol of transformation and growth. From its beginnings in a small Saint Paul storefront to a vibrant and modern space in Woodbury, the mission has remained the same: to create a space where people can feel beautiful, confident, comfortable, and cared for.

Meet Quynh – Owner of Signature Salon of Woodbury

Quynh’s journey in the beauty industry began right after high school, when she attended the Aveda, Arts and Science Institute of Minneapolis, from 2000–2001. After graduating, she launched her career at the Elizabeth Arden Full-Service Salon, located inside Marshall Field’s at Rosedale Mall. When Marshall Field’s transitioned to Macy’s, Quynh continued her work at Premier Salon, serving clients at both the Rosedale and downtown Minneapolis locations.

Driven to expand her experience beyond the department store clientele, Quynh accepted a position at a trend-forward salon in downtown Minneapolis, where she catered to a younger, more modern clientele. During that time (2004–2005), she styled clients including local media personalities like Brad Wooden from Channel 9 News.

With a lifelong dream of owning her own salon, Quynh has always been passionate about the beauty industry. She’s known for her ambition, work ethic, and deep commitment to helping others feel confident and beautiful. She actively pursues continuing education courses to stay current with industry trends to elevate her skills behind the chair.

In addition to her beauty background, Quynh holds a strong foundation in business administration, and dentistry. She worked in the dental field for 14 years, holding roles such as Dental Assistant, Insurance Coordinator, Treatment Coordinator, Office Administrator, and Office Manager- where she managed a 5 dentist, 25 employee practice. She worked closely with dental consultants, learning the ins and outs of running a successful business, from marketing to client retention, to team building, and business operations; all of which have proven invaluable in building, managing, and operating her own salon business.

Today, as the proud owner of Signature Salon of Woodbury, Quynh brings together her diverse expertise to create a welcoming, elevated salon experience for clients and team members alike. Her vision, resilience, and passion for service continue to shape the heart and soul of the salon every single day.

Hi! My name is Quynh and I am a blonding specialist, color formulation specialist, and hair extension specialist. I love everything color. I feel like that is where the transformation lies and can change a person's entire look and vibe! I believe that beauty is unique in each and every one of us and with the right stylist, we can help you bring out the beauty from within you. Hair has always been important to me. I believe that if your hair looks good, it doesn't matter what you wear or how you look, you will always look well put together. And how you look on the outside can really affect how you feel about yourself on the inside. Beauty has become more than just an exterior thing, I truly believe that it is crucial for your mental health and self-care for you to look good, to feel good. And to know that I can help my client feel confident and good about themselves really makes my career so enjoyable.

In my spare time I like to cook, clean, organize my living space, meditate, yoga, work out, and spend time with my two beautiful daughters, Ameilya (17) and Lilyanna (10). My kids are my world and I adore them both so much. I also love to travel, see the world, learn about other cultures and experience their food. I am a big foodie and would consider myself pretty well traveled for someone my age. I can't wait to show my daughters the world and travel more with them.

Hi my name is Pam. I have been doing hair for 30 years. I am very passionate about what I do and am very detailed oriented. I enjoy doing all services from razor cuts to color corrections, special event hair, all different color techniques, balayage, ombré, perms and waxing. I choose to work at Signature Salon of Woodbury because it’s a beautiful salon with an amazing location and is Exclusively Aveda. I’ve work with Aveda, color and products for many years, and stand by the philosophy of caring for the whole you, connecting beauty, well-being and sustainability. I specialize in cutting and styling, with a true love for razor cuts, classic and modern bobs, edgy pixies, curly hair transformations, and men’s barbering. Whether you’re looking for something timeless or trendy, I’ll help you discover a look that reflects your personality and fits your lifestyle.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me spending time with my son, cheering at soccer games, or staying active with a good workout.

I chose to work at Signature Salon of Woodbury because of the fun, positive energy that everyone brings here. It feels like one big family, and I love being surrounded by people who genuinely care about their art, work, and their clients.

In my spare time, I play hockey and golf, and I spend a lot of time at the gym. I currently play hockey, golf, and girl’s flag football at Woodbury High School and was team captain for the JV Girl’s Hockey team in 2024–2025, and I loved every moment of being in a leadership role. Staying active is super important to me because it helps me recharge.

Hello, my name is Drew. I’ve been cutting hair for about 10 years now, from small towns like my hometown of Wisconsin Rapids to cities like Denver and Chicago. No matter where I’ve been, one thing’s always the same—a great haircut has a way of making people feel like the best version of themselves. That’s what I love about this work.

I started cutting hair in 2015 and knew right away it was the right fit. I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands, being creative, and connecting with people—and this profession brings all of that together. I’m big on continued learning and always looking for ways to sharpen my craft.

Most of the time you’ll find me spending time with my wife and son. Outside of that, I’m usually playing chess or gaming, watching shows, skating, or digging into something new to keep growing.

I’ve been doing hair for over 40 years. I loved it so much. I went to beauty school in the summer between my junior and senior year in high school, and so after high school I was working by Christmas in a salon. I love to help make people feel better, and the best way to do that is by making them look terrific. I just want the world to be a more beautiful place. I had my own salon—an 18-chair salon—for 40 years and loved every minute of it, and still love doing hair. I have a specialty with long hair. Goldwell, which is a product that does color all over the world, had their headquarters in the U.S. in Baltimore, and they would pay me $1,000 a day to come and teach people long hair. So it’s great for proms, weddings, and special occasions, or just when you want your hair up off your neck.

I chose Signature Salon because when I walked in, it just looked really classy, and the owner was absolutely adorable, and I’m happy to be working here.
